About Dr. Curtis
Dr. Alan Curtis has been creating healthy, confident smiles for families in Arizona and Texas since 2007. He earned his bachelor's degree from Brigham Young University, scored in the top 1% on the dental admissions exam, and completed his DDS at the UCLA School of Dentistry. He then finished a two-year orthodontic residency at Baylor College of Dentistry (Texas A&M), where he received his Certificate in Orthodontics and a Master of Science in Oral Biology.
He teaches as adjunct faculty in A.T. Still University's postgraduate orthodontic residency program, helping train the next generation of orthodontists, and he has served as Arizona's board representative for the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists.
Dr. Curtis is fluent in Spanish, having served an LDS mission in the Canary Islands. He enjoys the mix of precision, technology, and long-term relationships that orthodontics offers: watching patients grow from first visit to finished smile, and helping families feel informed and cared for along the way.
Patients can expect a straightforward, high-tech, family-oriented practice that treats at the right time, for the right reason.

Dr. Curtis and his wife, Christie, have four sons: Alex, Will, Jake, and Nate. He enjoys gardening, photography, cycling, boating, and spending time outdoors with his family.
