Interest-free financing. As low as $99 a month.

That's the whole pitch. Interest-free, in-house, no bank in the middle. Add a free first visit and most insurance plans accepted, and braces stop being a "someday" thing.

How our in-house financing works

We don't send you to a lender. Smile 4 Less finances your treatment directly, interest-free, so you pay the same total whether you pay over 12 months or 24. Here's how it goes:

  1. Free consultation. Exam and X-ray, then a written treatment plan with the total fee and your monthly payment. No guessing. Many families start the same day.
  2. Monthly payments as low as $99. Spread across your treatment time. Auto-pay makes it painless.
  3. That's it. No interest. No hidden fees. No surprise bill at the end.

Honest fine print: "as low as" means starting at. Your exact monthly payment depends on your treatment plan (braces vs. Invisalign, how long, how complex). We'll show you your real number in writing before you commit to anything.

What affects your monthly payment

  • Type of treatment. Metal braces are the most affordable. Clear braces and Invisalign cost a bit more.
  • Length of treatment. A 12-month case and a 24-month case have different totals, and the payment is spread across the time you're in treatment.
  • Complexity. Mild crowding is simpler than a bite correction.
  • Insurance. If your plan has an orthodontic benefit, it comes off the top.
  • Discounts. Military and law enforcement families get 10% off.

Insurance

We accept most PPO dental insurance plans. Bring your card (or just your info) to the free consultation and we'll check your orthodontic benefit for you and tell you exactly what it covers.

How orthodontic insurance usually works

  • Ortho coverage is usually a lifetime maximum per person (often $1,000 to $2,500), not an annual limit like cleanings.
  • Many plans cover orthodontics for kids under 19 but not adults. Some cover both. We'll check.
  • We handle the paperwork and bill your insurance directly. Your monthly payment is based on what's left after insurance.

Medicaid: Texas Medicaid does not cover orthodontic treatment, so we're not able to accept it for braces or Invisalign. That's a state rule, not our choice, and it's the main reason we built our interest-free in-house plan.

HSA and FSA

Orthodontics is a qualified medical expense. You can use a health savings account (HSA) or flexible spending account (FSA) toward your down payment or monthly payments. If your FSA runs out at year end, it's a great way to use the balance.

Military and law enforcement

Active duty, veterans, spouses, and law enforcement families get 10% off treatment. Thank you for what you do. Fort Bliss families: our East El Paso office on Montana is the closest and stays open until 7:30pm.

What about going to Juarez?

A lot of El Paso families look into it, and we get it. Here's the honest math: with payments as low as $99 a month, treatment here is close to the same price. What you skip is the bridge line every 6 to 8 weeks for two years, the day off work for each adjustment, and the "what do I do now" moment when a bracket pops off on a Tuesday night. Same great smile, a lot less driving.

Money questions

Financing FAQ

Is there a credit check?

Our in-house plan doesn't rely on a bank loan. We'll go over the simple requirements at your consultation. Most families qualify.

Is it really interest-free?

Yes. The total cost of treatment is the same whether you pay it in one payment or over the length of treatment.

What if I have two kids who need braces?

Each patient gets their own plan and payment. Ask about family options at your consultation.

Can I pay it off early?

Yes, any time, with no penalty.

What's included in the free consultation?

An exam, an X-ray, a treatment recommendation, and a written quote with your monthly payment. No obligation.

Do you take Medicaid?

Texas Medicaid does not cover orthodontic treatment, so we're not able to accept it. Our interest-free financing is designed to make treatment reachable without it.
