Your first visit, start to finish
No surprises. Here's exactly what happens when you come in, what to bring, and how to save time with forms you can fill out at home. And yes, it's free.
What happens at your free consultation
- Check in. If you filled out forms at home, hand them over. If not, no problem, it takes about 10 minutes. Bring your insurance card if you have one.
- Photos and X-ray. A few photos of your smile and a panoramic X-ray. Quick and painless.
- The exam. One of our orthodontists looks at teeth, bite, and jaw, and asks what you'd like to change.
- Your options. Braces, clear braces, or Invisalign; how long it would take; what to expect. In plain English or Spanish.
- Your price, in writing. A treatment coordinator walks you through the total, your insurance benefit, your down payment, and your monthly payment.
- Your call. Start the same day, or take the quote home. No pressure either way.
Plan on about 45 minutes. If you're starting braces the same day, add about an hour.
What to bring
- Dental insurance card (or a photo of it), if you have one
- A list of any medications
- For kids: a parent or legal guardian needs to be there for the first visit
- Any questions. Write them down; we'll answer every one.

Insurance & payment
We accept most PPO plans and bill them directly. If you don't have insurance, our in-house financing starts as low as $99 a month, interest-free. Military and law enforcement families get 10% off. Texas Medicaid does not cover orthodontics. Full financing details.
Already a patient somewhere else?
Moving to El Paso mid-treatment happens a lot, especially with Fort Bliss. We can take over care that was started elsewhere. Bring whatever records you have and we'll take it from there. Get in touch.

Is the first visit really free?
Yes. Exam, X-ray, recommendation, and written quote, at no charge and with no obligation.
Do I need a referral?
No. Book directly with us.
How old should my child be for a first visit?
Around 7 is the recommended age for a first orthodontic check. Most kids don't need treatment yet, but it's the best time to look.
Can I start treatment the same day?
Usually, if you'd like to. Plenty of patients do.
Do you speak Spanish?
Sí. Most of our team is bilingual, at every location.
