How much does Invisalign cost in El Paso?
The short version: a little more than braces for a similar case, on the same interest-free in-house financing with a low down payment. The exact number comes from a free exam, not a website. Here's how it works.
Why Invisalign pricing varies
Invisalign isn't one product at one price. It's a custom set of aligners, and how many you need depends on how far your teeth have to move. A few crowded front teeth might take a dozen aligners over 6 months. A bite correction might take 40 over 18 months. The lab fee, the number of visits, and the length of treatment all scale with that.
What determines your cost
- Case complexity. Mild spacing or crowding costs less than bite correction.
- Treatment length. More aligners, more months, more visits.
- Full vs. limited treatment. "Just the front teeth" cases (common for adults who had braces as a kid) are usually the most affordable.
- Insurance. Most plans that cover braces cover Invisalign the same way. That comes off the top.
- Discounts. 10% off for military and law enforcement families.
Invisalign cost per month at Smile 4 Less
Almost nobody pays for Invisalign in a lump sum. What matters is the monthly payment, and ours is interest-free and financed in-house. Invisalign generally runs a bit higher per month than metal braces for the same case because of the lab costs, but for many patients it's close enough that the choice comes down to lifestyle.
We put your exact monthly payment in writing at your free consultation. If braces would be meaningfully cheaper for your case, we'll tell you that too.
Invisalign vs. braces cost
| Metal braces | Clear braces | Invisalign | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Relative cost | Lowest | Middle | Usually highest |
| Financing | Same interest-free in-house plan | ||
| Insurance | Same orthodontic benefit applies to all three | ||
| Best for | Any case, budget-first | Any case, discreet | Mild to moderate, most discreet |
Does insurance cover Invisalign?
If your dental plan has an orthodontic benefit, it almost always applies to Invisalign just like braces. Ortho benefits are usually a lifetime maximum (often $1,000 to $2,500) and often only for patients under 19. We'll check your plan for you. Texas Medicaid does not cover orthodontics of any kind. More on insurance.
Invisalign vs. mail-order aligners
Mail-order aligner companies advertise low prices, and the aligners are cheaper. What's missing is the exam, the X-ray, and the orthodontist checking every few weeks that your roots and gums are handling the movement. When those cases go wrong, fixing them costs more than doing it right would have. Our Invisalign pricing includes a specialist, a local office, and the retainers at the end.

Invisalign cost FAQ
Is Invisalign more expensive than braces?
Usually a little, for a similar case, because of the custom aligner lab fees. Both are on the same interest-free financing, and we'll show you the monthly payment for each.
Can I get Invisalign for $99 a month?
Our lowest monthly payment is $99, and some limited Invisalign cases qualify. Most Invisalign plans run higher. You'll get your exact number at the free consultation.
Does the price include retainers?
Your written plan spells out exactly what's included so there are no surprises at the end. Ask at the consultation.
Is Invisalign cheaper for teens?
Sometimes, because teen cases can be shorter and insurance more often covers patients under 19. Every case is different.
Can I use HSA or FSA funds?
Yes. Orthodontics is a qualified medical expense.
