- As low as $99 a month, interest-free, on top of the discount. The discount comes off the total, which lowers the monthly payment.
- Benefits help. Bring your dental plan info and we'll verify your orthodontic benefit and bill it directly.
- Late hours. Our East El Paso office on Montana, the closest to Fort Bliss, is open until 7:30pm Monday through Friday.
- PCS-friendly. If orders come mid-treatment, we transfer your records and plan to your next orthodontist and handle the paperwork.
- Transfers in. Just arrived with braces already on? We'll pick up where your last orthodontist left off.
Military dental plans and braces
Military dental coverage for orthodontics depends on who the patient is and which plan you have. In general: the TRICARE Dental Program (for family members of active duty, and for Guard/Reserve) includes an orthodontic benefit with a cost-share; retiree dental plans through FEDVIP vary by carrier; and active-duty service members' own orthodontic care runs through military dental treatment facilities. We're not the plan, so we won't guess on your behalf: bring your card and we'll verify exactly what's covered before you commit to anything.
Getting braces at Fort Bliss vs. off post
Dependents usually get orthodontic care off post with a civilian orthodontist, which is where we come in. Our East El Paso office is about 15 to 20 minutes from main post, appointments are 20 to 30 minutes every 6 to 8 weeks, and evening slots mean nobody misses school or duty. Areas we serve →
If you PCS during treatment
- Tell us as soon as you have orders.
- We'll finish the current stage and put everything in writing: records, X-rays, and where you are in the plan.
- Your next orthodontist (we can help you find one) picks up from there. Your payment plan is prorated to what we've completed.
